{"id":9421,"date":"2022-06-30T15:06:33","date_gmt":"2022-06-30T13:06:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jmgcranes.it\/?p=9421"},"modified":"2025-05-28T10:26:42","modified_gmt":"2025-05-28T08:26:42","slug":"safety-first-when-safety-makes-a-difference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jmgcranes.it\/en\/without-category\/safety-first-when-safety-makes-a-difference\/","title":{"rendered":"SAFETY FIRST: when safety makes a difference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What safety devices are included in our Pick &amp; Carry that ensure their total safety?<\/p>\n<p><strong>LMI (LOAD MOMENT INDICATOR)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>The LMI System is the electronic load indicator and tilting moment limiting system.<\/strong> It is a safety device, a legal requirement, that guarantees our Pick &amp; Carry the highest performance standards while maintaining the total versatility of the crane under absolutely safe conditions.\nThis special configuration of JMG's LMI System is possible thanks to an extremely careful design carried out by the R&amp;D Department that takes into account all possible configurations of the machine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The LMI system comes into operation when the machine starts up and, thanks to a calculation algorithm that cross-references the data collected by the <strong>angle-wire sensor<\/strong> located on the arm (which virtually reconstructs the position of the load) with the measurements of the <strong>pressure transducers<\/strong> mounted on the lifting cylinder, it derives the load lifted and, if necessary, stops the machine to keep it in a safe condition.<\/p>\n<p>This special configuration of JMG's LMI System is possible thanks to an extremely careful design carried out by the R&amp;D Department that takes into account all possible machine configurations.<\/p>\n<p>Appropriate warning systems go into action to signal danger:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Signal lights: a real traffic light with red, yellow and green lights visually accompanies the operator in handling<\/li>\n<li>Beeper signal: a buzzer sounds at the time of lockout.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>BLUE SPOT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This device is optionally installed on JMG Pick &amp; Carry and has a dual function:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>motion detector by projecting a blue light that signals the presence of the machine to nearby operators<\/li>\n<li>light track to indicate the crane's footprint relative to the maneuvering space.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>CAMERAS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nothing to chance, then, when it comes to safety.To increase safety when maneuvering, each crane can be equipped with cameras.<\/p>\n<p>Nothing to chance, then, when it comes to security.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Quali sono i dispositivi di sicurezza in dotazione alle nostre Pick &amp; Carry che ne garantiscono la totale sicurezza?
